Job Description

A well-known Pharmacetuical company in Jordan - Amman is looking to hire Packaging Manager.Purpose of the job:Ensure the implementation of the agreed Packaging plan in order to meet the packaging targets timely and in a cost effective manner in line with the agreed quality parameters and overall business objectives.Responsibilities, Duties and Authority:

  • Packaging PlansReview and agree the Packaging plan developed by the Planning department in order to ensure it is feasible in terms of cost, equipment and people resource availability.
  • PackagingEnsure the implementation of the agreed Packaging plan in order to timely meet the shipping targets in a cost effective manner in line with the overall business objectives.
  • QualityEnsure that all products manufactured meet agreed current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Cost EfficienciesEnsure optimization of production and efficient utilization of all production resources to meet internal cost targets.
  • SafetyEnsure that the appropriate safety measures and standards are implemented in order to comply with all safety policies, guidelines, procedures and legislation.
  • Management-Effectively manage the Packaging staff and processes to meet all department objectives through the effective management of the Human resources.-Implementing all Company policies, systems and processes like the Good Manufacturing Practices ( GMP) and Standards Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • ERP ReportsPrepare and present all necessary packaging reports timely and accurately in order to keep top management informed and facilitate decision making.
  • ImprovementsRecommend improvement to the packaging processes and systems to in order to increase productivity and plant efficiencies.
Working Relationship and Communications (inside and outside department):Internal: Production Manager and all production team members, All interfacing department managers like R & D Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Finance Manager, HR Manager, QA and QC Managers, Quality Auditors, Maintenance Manager etc.External: Regulatory inspectors, Labor Ministry officials.?
