*Operations Support Assistant* A unique opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated, ambitious agriculturally minded person to provide support to our Operations manager and his team at Roadhead Farm Feeds Ltd. This is a full-time position Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday mornings, during peak times. Throughout this role you will weigh in and out vehicles on the mill weighbridge, ensuring that vehicles are loaded and unloaded as per details on the OMS computer programme. This involves weighing in all raw materials, working closely with the production team to ensure stock rotation of onsite materials prior to new materials being routed to the correct storage areas. Throughout this process you will assist the quality control team by inspecting and retaining samples of incoming raw materials and outgoing finished feed for audit purposes, ensuring quality standards are met. You will ensure a clean safe working environment whilst completing relevant documentation relating to compliance with legislation and company policy and procedures. An essential part of this role will be the ability to liaise with customers and suppliers ensuring an efficient flow of information. Whilst having the ability to use your own initiative you should be able to demonstrate flexibility within the role, adapt and prioritise in support to meet the demands of a fast-paced work environment. Essentially you should have the ability to work as part of the team, have excellent numeracy and computer skills and a willingness to learn. Whilst a forklift licence and trailer licence are not essential it would be advantageous.
