We are currently recruiting for an O&M Expert for a KfW-funded water project in Jordan. With high-level goals provided, conceives, plans, coordinates and leads the completion of operations and maintenance projects of small to medium scope and basic to high complexity. Maintains liaison with individuals and units within or outside the firms organization with responsibility for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to O&M projects. Collaborates with sales staff to create proposals in response to current and potential client requests for proposal (RFPs). Reviews draft proposals for adherence to firm, industry, state, local and federal regulations and best practices. Meets with current and potential future clients to review their current and future O&M needs. Supervises the work of junior staff on project work. Provides technical guidance and training to junior staff. Mentors junior staff and develops them for growth within the discipline and firm. Performs other duties as required. Performs administrative duties, including coordinating meetings with clients, preparing project schedules and budgets; and assisting in preparation of proposals and other business development efforts. Provides updates to clients, subcontractors, and contractors on project status, startup and scheduling.Minimum QualificationsAssociates degree or technical school certificate. Class III operator certification as water, wastewater and/or industrial plant operator. 7 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
