Job Description

Purpose and main objectives:Plan, direct, coordinate and report purchasing, shipping, warehousing, distribution, forecasting to limit costs, improve accuracy, enhance business operations, supply chain and logistics. Moreover to examine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet product distribution needs and to direct the movement, storage, or processing of inventory.Responsibilities:

  • Shipments Management (shipping preparations, tracking, receiving follow-up).Zarqa Free Zone (transit) warehouse management (receiving follow-up, re-exporting, expenses management).
  • Company purchases reporting, tracking, shipping .
  • Stock reporting, monitoring, management.
  • Sales reporting for colleagues in Supply chain department and HODs.
  • Manage Freight forwarders negotiations, quotes, accounts and invoices checking.DAS (distribution automation system) reporting for key supplier.
  • Monthly budget reporting and follow up with finance / accounting departments .
  • SAP items list data management and any other related data.
  • Reflect the cost of shipping for received Goods on SAP.
  • Any other related tasks requested by manager.
Key Knowledge Areas:
  • Transportation ? Knowledge of principles, incoterms and methods for moving goods by air, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits.
  • Administration and Management ? Knowledge of principles and key factors for leading or managing a team, collaboration with peers and assisting managers.Supply Chain, logistics and operations management.
  • Warehousing and Stock management ? Knowledge of principle and method for handling and managing warehouse operations and stock management (receiving stock, using space efficiently, stock count/audit, stock transfer)
