PURPOSE, SCOPE AND IMPACT??

The Learning and Development Unit in Amman is one of 4 units worldwide delivering staff training within the ICRC .
The selected trainer joins a vibrant and diverse team dedicated to development and provision of quality responsive courses for personnel engaged in humanitarian work in the Middle East, and Eurasia.
The position involves some travel although the bulk of the training is conducted within Amman.

?MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitating both on line and face to face trainingsWorks as part of the LnD team in active preparation for courses, delivery and improvements
Contributes to the development and evaluation of courses (onboarding new ICRC staff mainly )
Demonstrates all the professional behaviors expected in the organization?
Promotes standards of professional excellence and knowledge acquisition in the sphere of influence.

?GENERAL DUTIES

Understand the three components of the Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement
Adhere to the ICRC?s Code of Conduct at all times
Respect and observe the staff regulations of the ICRC in Jordan.
The employee may be asked to perform other duties not covered in this job description as well as to provide support to other departments when and if necessary.
