Outcome 3 Lead/Urban Resilience Expert for Jordan Amman Urban Resilience ActivityTetra Tech International Development (International Development Jobs - Tetra Tech) is currentlyaccepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a potential Outcome 3 Lead/UrbanResilience Expert position for the anticipated $25-50 million USAID-funded multi-year Amman UrbanResilience Activity (AURA) in Jordan.Position Description: The focus of this activity is on improving local governance and the enablingenvironment for urban climate resilience and decarbonization in the Greater Amman Municipality(GAM), focusing on interventions with high adaptation benefits. The potential activity may improvedata-driven policymaking, planning, and budgeting and may include interventions focusing on disasterrisk reduction resulting from floods and extreme heat events, investment and access to climate funds,enhanced participation of local communities and the private sector, and targeted urban resilienceinfrastructure work. The Urban Resilience Lead will provide urban resilience leadership and technicalexpertise for AURA. The Urban Resilience Lead will assure that USAID Jordan AURA achieves Outcome 3,to increase implementation of priority urban resilience and decarbonization projects. This is anticipatedto be a full-time position based in Amman, Jordan.Responsibilities:* Provide urban resilience leadership and technical expertise for AURA.* Oversee urban resilience technical activities and ensure that the project is achieving intended results.
