To be considered eligible for Lateral Firefighter/Paramedic you must meet the following criteria: * Pass the Firefighter Candidate Testing Center (FCTC) Entry Level Firefighter Written Exam and be placed on the FCTC Statewide Eligibility List as of June 19, 2022.* Possess a current, valid Cal-JAC CPAT Card with an issue date between June 19, 2021 and June 19, 2022 and ability to pass Citys aerial ladder agility test.* A minimum of 12 months of current and continuous experience as a full time/career firefighter with no separation time or break in service at time of application.* Possession of a current, valid Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic license meeting the requirements of the California Emergency Medical Services Authority.* Possession of a California State Fire Marshal Firefighter I Certificate.* Possession of a current, valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificate issued by the American Heart Association or the equivalent.
