We are looking for an IT Security Engineer that is passionate about helping us in ensuring that our partners succeed and are secure.???Job Role/Overview:IT Security Engineer that will be focused on providing day to day operational monitoring and management of our Security Operations Centre. You will be responsible in accessing risks and creating security reports for out clients. Qualified candidates will have a background in security or systems engineering. ??Responsibilities?

  • Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
  • Develop Information Security Plans and Policies
  • Test for vulnerabilities
  • Investigate security breaches
  • Understand and configure honeypots
  • Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols
  • Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices
  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
  • Ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents
  • Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement
  • Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies and methods
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies and methods
  • Professional experience in a system administration role supporting multiple platforms and applications
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve problems
  • On-call 24/7 Rotation
