Job Description

The IT QA Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications within a non-profit organization. This position is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes, implementing testing strategies, and leading a team of QA professionals. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software development life cycles and quality assurance methodologies. They will work closely with development teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards before deployment.Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure software quality.
  2. Lead and mentor a team of QA testers, providing guidance and support.
  3. Collaborate with developers to understand project requirements and provide feedback on potential issues.
  4. Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various applications.
  5. Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
  6. Perform regression testing and ensure that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality.
  7. Conduct performance and load testing to assess application scalability.
  8. Prepare and present quality assurance reports to stakeholders.
  9. Stay updated with the latest QA trends and tools to enhance testing processes.
  10. Participate in project planning and provide input on quality-related aspects.
