Ambition, dedication, attention to detail, and a warm smile are all winning characteristics that lead to the spirit of who we are.Position Summary:The IT Project Manager is responsible to work within IT on the implementation of IT infrastructure and software applications projects for the business and provide quality of services by analyzing business requirements to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget. The main duties include project planning, resource allocation, project implementation and reporting that is in line with ilanis standards, policies, and culture.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:* Promote superior guest service.* Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of TÃlícn and the Core Values of ilani.* Work with the ilani team to determine specific business needs.* Possess a strong understanding of IT solutions and business needs; transform business needs into IT requirements.* Manage projects following project management framework with planning and executing full-cycle IT projects.* Create long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams.* Comfortability field large projects that require scrutiny with timelines, large budgets, and team coordination.* Provide regular and up-to-date status reports to stakeholders and IT leadership.* Create scorecards and document requirements to ensure input and requirements for stakeholders.* Lead project meetings and assign resources and timelines.* Create slides and prepare project updates for monthly IT steering committee meetings* Coordinate with business leaders and teams to ensure project requirements are being met.* Lead weekly project status updates with the IT team.* Analyze internal and external data through quantitative research.* Promote best practices in data analysis and reporting.* Promote best practices in IT security, applications, and systems planning.* Adjust schedules and targets on projects as needs or financing for the project change.* Communicate and document changes and issues that impact project timelines, budget, or scope.* Partner with team and vendors to ensure project viability and processes.* Document and log accountability for tasks related to projects.* Create It project budgets and allocate resources where necessary.* Develop a renewal and upgrade schedule for company software programs.* Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:* Bachelors degree in either business or management preferred with other bachelors degrees considered and 3 years of proven work experience in an IT project management or similar role,or an equivalent combination of education and experience.* Project Management certification required., Project+, Scrum or other project management certification also considered.* Possess excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.* Possess technical writing skills, including the ability to understand a business problem, write out the requirements professionally and be able to translate information into executable tasks.* Proven strong written and oral communications skills.* Proven understanding of IT systems, networking, and software applications.* Demonstrated logical problem solver who can operate under constraints.* Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills.* Demonstrated examples of project plans and projects reports.* High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD) and 5 years of proven work experience in an IT project management or similar role.* Project Management certification required. PMP certification highly preferred, Project+, Scrum or other project management certification also considered.* Possess excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.* Possess technical writing skills, including the ability to understand a business problem, write out the requirements professionally and be able to translate information into executable tasks.* Proven strong written and oral communications skills.* Proven understanding of IT systems, networking, and software applications.* Demonstrated logical problem solver who can operate under constraints.* Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills.* Demonstrated examples of project plans and projects reports.* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.* Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.* Must be willing to work in a smoking environment when on the casino floor.* Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures (wear a face mask, other appropriate PPE, social distance).Preferred Qualifications:* PMP certification highly preferred.
