Job Description

Your RoleYou will be required to promote IT project management standards across all areas of the business, perform business requirements gathering, feasibility studies, and present to customers. You will have direct responsibility for ensuring projects meet business needs and are delivered to plan and within budget.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promote IT Project Management Standards
  • Assist IT Manager with strategy and planning
  • Post-implementation, contribute to post-implementation reviews, ensure the standards and processes are enhanced as a result
  • Issue management/escalation processes between the business units and IT and, where appropriate, external technology providers
  • Own and maintain technology ?process maps? for all areas of the business supported
  • Perform business analysis in support of projects or specific assignments as required
  • Project Management: take responsibility for projects as required, to include:
  • Project reporting
  • Planning
  • Budgets
  • Risk management
  • Issue management
  • Resource management
  • Contract negotiation, as appropriate
Qualifications and Experience
  • Prince2 or other project management methodology
  • ITIL would be beneficial
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience of IT projects
  • Current experience of working in a business facing role in an IT services environment
  • Recent experience (within last 2 years) of conducting requirements gathering and feasibility studies
  • Preferably have exposure to strategic planning
  • Vendor training and certifications would be beneficial eg: Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, Service Desk applications, etc.
