Job Description

Description We are looking to hire a IP & Enterprise Maintenance Engineer Team Member who will be Responsible for Maintaining the IP access network elements and enterprise customers for both IP and transmission last mile connections and FTTH individual cases, through monitoring network performance, detecting problems, identifying root causes, and solving problems, as well as following up with vendors and subcontractors and examining their performance and deliverables, in addition to preparing comprehensive reports.Main tasks will include but will not be limited to:

  • Supervise IP, fiber, FTTX and MW contractors & vendors and follow up on work progress and deliverables.
  • Configuration, testing, assembly, and integration of network transmission equipment and microwave equipment.
  • Validating the vendor?s implementation and integration works for the IP & transmission equipment and MW network elements. and overcome any changes in site?s environment that affect network performance, while ensuring optimal utilization of resources and proper customer experience.
  • Troubleshooting of IP Access NE & the transmission systems for FTTH customers, to know and identify the fault root cause and advice with the required corrective action.
  • Troubleshooting of the IP access systems for all Zain sites & enterprise customers, to know and identify the fault root cause and advice with the required corrective actions, this requires an intermediate knowledge in IP network and router configuration.
  • Contribute with other department colleagues in the acceptance tests procedures and reports.
  • Follow up on Zain enterprise customers problem using all available systems and tools.
  • Follow up on the Wi-Fi maintenance activities.
  • Keeping ordered and properly identified physical network connections and points.
  • Make sure that all EP documents [EP RTN MW, EP Fiber, FTTH,...] are updated.
  • Perform periodically preventive maintenance visits to new installed customers.
  • Follow up the MenaTrack EP & FTTH cases to meet the agreed SLA.
  • Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor.
What Do You Need to Qualify The suitable candidate should fit the below requirements:
  • Bachelor?s degree in Electrical/Communication Engineering or a related field.
  • Preferred 2 years of relevant experience.
  • CCNA Certified
