Job Description

The Jordan Water Efficiency and Conservation Activity (WEC) funded by USAID/Jordan and implemented by Tetra Tech ARD is currently accepting expressions of interest for qualified candidates to fill various positions. The purpose of the WEC Activity is to increase water use efficiency and conservation in Jordan by applying commercial incentives to the agriculture, industrial, and the municipal sectors and strengthening the Government of Jordan (GOJ) governance over irrigated agriculture. Tetra Tech seeks experienced candidates for the following position: Industry Partnerships Coordinator -The Industry Partnerships Coordinator will work with the suppliers of water conservation technologies to create commercial partnerships across Jordans industrial sector leading to the increased demand and supply of water saving and conservation technologies and techniques. Under the supervision of the Strategic Partnerships Lead, the focus of this role is to support establishment of lasting commercial partnerships that result in increased demand and dissemination of water conservation technologies and practices in Jordan?s industrial sector. Specifically, the Industry Coordinator will:

  • Identify and assess potential partnerships to build effective commercial relationships to increase
  • the supply of Water Saving Technologies to Jordan?s industrial enterprises.
  • Work with suppliers of water saving technologies ( WSTs) and related service providers to create
  • on going mutually beneficial commercial partnerships.
  • Identify and work with other relevant actors in the supply chain whose inclusion will support
  • enhanced delivery of WST solutions. This may include providers of financial services and any
  • other relevant service which facilitates an increased supply of these technologies and practices.
  • Promote commercial models that demonstrate the financial benefits to industrial and commercial
  • enterprises for adopting specific water conservation technologies. Support the suppliers to use this
  • information to build demand for their products.
  • Engage with and support the suppliers of WSTs to adopt a more customer focused approach to
  • build commercial relationships with their client base.
