(CIS, computer engineering, ... ). * Certificates in Web Development (Python, PHP, ASP.NET) are plus. * At least 5 years of experience in a relevant position. * Excellent English and Arabic language skills, German language skills would be an asset * Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role. * Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js) are plus.* Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery) are plus.* Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design are plus.* Understanding of data security and protection policies and regulations.* Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions. * Excellent communication skills* Ability to work in a teamCore tasksYou work on all job orders within your remit and are the main contact for advising managers and other staff members on all issues in the thematic area. You are also responsible for providing specialist support to colleagues in bands 2 and 3, and ensure the quality of the commissions outcomes. You clearly communicate the relevant requirements, conditions and restrictions in terms of your capacity to act. You coordinate the process for awarding contracts, work on tasks in accordance with the relevant legal, contractual, socio-political and corporate policy requirements and monitor the processing and fulfilment of those contracts. You are involved in the further development of instruments and help to ensure that innovations and changes are incorporated into them. In consultation with your team colleagues and line manager, you also coordinate all issues within your area of work and ensure that they are dealt with promptly and competently. You resolve problems that arise in your area of responsibility on the basis of existing rules and draw attention to more complex challenges in your team. In consultation with your line manager, under your role you may assume management responsibility for staff members in band 1, with due regard for P+R and GIZs applicable HR policies, instruments and procedures. You are involved in ongoing process development within your remit, are responsible for knowledge management and prepare and share documentation. You perform the tasks assigned to you by your line manager, where required.Main activities* Working on the Data Management System under the directions of the Component Manager of the Data management unit. * Training of Partners data officers in using the Data Management System. * Supporting the installation and troubleshooting of the network needed to run the Data Management system.* Supporting in troubleshooting the Data Management system of any partner. * Install, configure, and monitor computer systems, networks, printers, and servers; diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical problems for users.* Coordinate with Jordan IT unit in subjects related to IT fields.* helps in verifying IT systems in use to comply with GIZ IT and security guidelines. * Keep an up-to-date list of all IT Managed Assets.* Generate and submit reports on a regular basis to the Country IT Unit.* Maintain up-to-date IT documentation.* Design and implementation of the overall web applications.* Design and deployment of databases* Analyzing data requirements to establish, adapt and maintain data models.
