Job Description

Background:The Syria Recovery Trust Fund (SRTF) was established for the financing of reconstruction activities to rebuild the country and alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people as a result of the ongoing conflict. The SRTF was created to provide the international community with a vehicle to offer financial support to the National Coalition for responding to the needs of the Syrian people.The Management Unit (MU) was established to manage the Fund and its allocations to projects addressing reconstruction, recovery, and stabilization to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people.Governing bodies of SRTF are:ˇ      The Steering Board (SB), with frequent meetings two times a year.ˇ      The Management Committee (MC), meeting every three months.ˇ      The Director-General of SRTF (DG).1. Key ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities of the Human Resources Officer include but are not limited to the following:

  •  Provide support on the day-to-day HR activities, in coordination with and under the supervision of the HR Management Expert. Those activities include, but not limited to:
  • Update daily attendance sheet.
  • Complete staff leave requests and update leave balance sheet.
  • Maintain HR files, paperwork, and records related to personnel activities (recruitment, training, leave monitoring, performance evaluations, etc.).
  • Provide support in the recruitment/hiring processes that may include posting job openings, primary screening of resumes, preparing CV summary, scheduling job interviews and assisting in applicants reference checks.
  • Arrange with training centers and companies for collecting offers for the implementation of the development/ training plan.
  • Follow up on Staff Health Insurance inquiries.
  • Assist the HR Management Expert in all HR-related activities when required.
