All employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of all applicable background checks, including criminal record checks where possible.Position: Grant Acquisition and Management Intern (Amman)The World Vision Syria Response is seeking a Grant Acquisition and Management Intern. The overall purpose of the position is to assist the Grant Acquisition and Management team in carrying out day to day tasks relating to program development and the grant management of ongoing projects. This internship will involve on-the-job training relating to donor funding applications, compliance, reporting and the management of humanitarian programs in Jordan, Syria and Turkey. All work to support Syria and Turkey programming will be done remotely from Amman, Jordan. It is expected that the candidate will work fulltime, 40 hours per week. Please note the standard working hours are 8.30-5.00pm Sunday- Thursday (Amman time).KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Supporting the Grant Acquisition and Management (GAM) team: * Support in the development of concept notes and proposals for new programs.* Assist in team information management.* Review and edit program reporting.* Conduct other activities to support the GAM team as needed.
