This role will involve building new features of existing web applications, as well as making modifications to shared libraries and services distributed across the Expedia Group portfolio. In this role, you will be a leader, contributor and have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on our advertising technology stack. As a ?Software Development Engineer III? you will participate in all aspects of feature development like refining new product increments, user-story development, automation test implementation and peer review of team contributions before release.What Youll Do:* Modify existing web applications and services to release new or enhance existing advertising products * Create elegant & reusable UX components that span devices using responsive web design * Engineer scalable, fault tolerant software components for serving ads across all Expedia Inc. pages * Implement custom advertising solutions on web pages owned by other teams within the company * Use and contribute to reusable libraries for placing and loading advertising products, and make suggestions for improvementsWho you are:* 5+ years overall development experience * 2+ years experience with JavaScript development, demonstrating a proficient understanding of the language * 2+ years of Java development experience, Kotlin experience is a plus * GraphQL experience is ideal * Structured approach to development (measuring, monitoring, and testing) and a deep understanding of object oriented design * Ability to ramp up quickly on new technologies * Dedication to writing and maintaining high quality code #L1-AP1About Expedia GroupExpedia Group (NASDAQ: EXPE) powers travel for everyone, everywhere through our global platform.
