* First Aider & Admin Support Assistant First Aider & Admin Support AssistantLocation Winterbourne, South GloucestershireFirst Aider & Admin Support AssistantContract: Permanent, term time only to incl. INSET days(39 weeks)Hours: 18.75 per week (Monday - Wednesday)Salary: Grade 11 (NJC 5 - 6), 19,650 - 20,043 FTE per annum(pro-rata: 8,526 to 8,697 per annum)Start Date: As soon as possibleThis post is part of a job-share. This means that the role is shared with another employee, called a job-share partner. The successful candidate will be required to work 3 days per week (Monday to Wednesday) and the job-share partner will work 2 days per week (Thursday to Friday), to ensure that the 5 school days are covered. The post-holder will act as the first aid contact at the academy, overseeing the care of students who are unwell or are injured, decide on the appropriate course of action and implement that action within the competencies of the first aid certificate held. They will also be required to maintain records and reports, including those for statutory purposes. There may also be the need from time to time to provide cover on the main reception desk. They successful candidate will: * ? hold a first aid qualification or be willing to undertake this* ? have recent and relevant experience in a similar role* ? have a working knowledge of Arbor (desirable)* be competent in the use of MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.* ? have excellent customer service skills and a good telephone manner* ? be a confident communicator and enjoy building and maintaining successful, professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders* ? have well-developed administration and organisational skills* ? have the ability to work with confidential information and work independently using initiative* ? have a positive attitude and ?can do? approach to work* ? have high standards and attention to detail* ? have the ability to remain calm and professional working under pressure* ? have the ability to work without close supervision* ? have a willingness to cover for colleagues in other admin Teams when necessary* ? have an understanding of the importance of child protection and safeguarding issues in relation to this role specifically* ? have evidence of right to work in the U.K. Winterbourne Academy is a vibrant and highly successful academy in South Gloucestershire.
