Drafting Detailer Manager (Henderson, KY)Allstate Tower Inc., a division of Pittsburg Tank & Tower Group has an immediate opening for a Drafting Manager. The drafting manager is responsible for plans, assign, and reviews the drafters work and other employees working on design projects. Establishes deadlines, develops goals, and determines production standards for the department. Analyzes and review drawings and plan to ensure quality of work and project feasibility. Salary Range $60,000 - $75,000 a year Job Duties: * Developing or maintaining processes, procedures, and standards to improve customer service and minimize project costs * Developing or maintaining metrics to objectively gauge efficiency, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction * Strategic planning, including identifying ?value-added? initiatives * Managing multiple projects / assignments concurrently * Maintaining a high level of communication and flow of information within the Department, including expectations, deadlines, and reporting requirements * Promoting open and ongoing communications between various departments, customers, and personnel * Providing individual development and performance monitoring * Developing, maintaining, and supporting Departmental initiatives and related budgets * Ensuring that the Company budget forecasting and accrual processes are properly implemented and followed * The above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Qualifications: * Bachelor?s Degree, Engineering Degree, other degrees or related work experience will be considered * A technical understanding tower structures and plant design including experience with the tools need in the drafting/design environment (Auto CAD 2D & 3D) is strongly preferred * Excellent customer service skills, and ability to work with all levels of management and employees * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal * Strong leadership and interpersonal skills * Strong project coordination, planning and management skills * Effective analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate problems from various perspectives and make sound recommendations * Self-motivated and willing to learn new and changing technologies * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite * Ability to organize and prioritize daily work schedules and objectives and maintain confidentiality * Familiarity with tower specifications, standards and recommended practices * Familiarity with federal and state regulations and agencies Pittsburg Tank & Tower Group is an equal opportunity employer.
