Job Description

Job PurposeDesign, implement and monitor the containers systems. This includes after-hour on-call support and handling technical problems escalated from level 1.Roles and Responsibilities

  • Experience in OpenShift and Ubuntu Linux implementations and administration
  • Good understanding of Unix fundamentals, web protocols, storage, networking, and load balancing
  • Linux (Must): commands, scripting, troubleshooting, application server installation
  • Working Knowledge of Containerization ? Docker & Kubernetes deployment and configuration
  • Working Knowledge of configuration tools - Ansible, Puppet.
  • Good knowledge of Build and Deployment strategy.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools: Jenkins, Git, Jira.
  • Good communication skills, Proactive and independent to solve issues (Must).
  • Interact with clients and internal teams to resolve issues with full responsibility.
  • Good experience in handling various production support roles (technical)
  • Knowledge of application servers such as Apache, Tomcat and NGINX configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Should have worked on complex and secure deployment projects
  • Must have worked on the basis of Agile methodology
  • Domain should be Network/Database application/System architect
  • Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on various platforms.
  • Designing, maintenance, and management of tools for automation of different operational processes.
  • Pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance.
  • Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of production systems.
  • Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions.
  • Advanced problem troubleshooting/isolation.
  • Execute scheduled tasks.
  • Documentation of installation setup and configuration.
  • Perform acceptance tests of the service in collaboration with the project manager.
  • Assist in other related activities and projects as necessary.
  • Availability outside Normal Working Hours for urgent matters.
  • The ability to work on different shifts (A/B/C) and during the holidays is required
