Consultancy for (MSEs) Credit Review AssignmentShort-term Consultancy Amman, Amman Location : Remotely The NEF Belgium (NEF) is seeking qualified consultant for a Micro and Small Entreprises (MSEs) Credit Review Assignment to provide the needed support for the Revolving Credit Fund (RCF) in Northwest Syria.For 100 years, the NEF has worked to build more sustainable, prosperous, and inclusive communities in the Middle East, Caucasus, and Africa through education, governance, and economic development initiatives. Working through a network of country offices and local partners, NEF currently has operations in nine countries: Armenia, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Mali, Morocco, Sudan, South Sudan, and Syria. Its programs are organized around three themes: Peacebuilding through Economic Cooperation, Climate-resilient Agriculture, and Microenterprise Development. NEF Belgium Service Announcement Assignment: MSEs Credit Review Category: Service Introduction and Background Overview NEF is operating the revolving credit fund to empower local entrepreneurs in north Syria by facilitating MSEs access-to-finance. The consultant will work under the supervision of the Regional Financial Service Manager to support with credit review and loan application processing. Main deliverables: Conducting credit assessment to evaluate applicants? creditworthiness. Duration: Maximum 150 hours through July 30, 2022 Experience/Qualifications * Proved experience with microfinance institutions (MFIs), mainly with credit review function * Proven experience conducting site visits for micro and small business * Good experience with MF office * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
