Working in coordination with the humanitarian community and the Government of Jordan, the IRCs assistance programs for Syrian refugees in Jordan include both camp-based (Zaatari, and Azraq camps) and urban-based refugee assistance (Mafraq, Ramtha, Irbid). Our current child protection activities are exclusively urban-based with a focus on Street and Working ChildrenJob Overview/Summary:Reporting to the Snr. Child Protection Program Manager, the Program Officer under the direct supervision of the Snr. Program Manager is responsible for providing administrative, financial and logistics support to the Child Protection team implementing program activities and operating in East Amman.?Major Responsibilities:Finance & Procurement

  • Prepare purchase requests (PR) as directed by Snr. Child Protection Program Manager
  • Follow-up on? purchase requests (PR) with Finance and Supply Chain and keep track of the process
  • Ensure that procurement is carried out in accordance with IRC and donor-specific policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all materials purchased are of appropriate quality and price and are timely delivered.
  • Assist the Child Protection team with identifying adequate supplies, materials and equipments needed to implement activities; prepare procurement request accordingly.
  • Ensure flagging procurement needs for the Child Protection Program in East Amman as required
  • Generate all required procurement documentation and maintain records and files in an impeccable manner.
  • Perform other duties as required by the supervisor.
?Assets & Inventory
  • Responsible for assigning/controlling IRC assets, equipment, and program supplies in East Amman Center
  • Perform inventory control checks? and ensure that all stocks and? assets are properly documented and recorded
  • Ensure? that? any? storage? facilities? and/or? warehouses? are? adequately? maintained? and managed,? including? the? protection? of? stored? goods , the maintenance of adequate stock movement records and the efficient transfer of received stocks to their ultimate user.
Operations
  • Respond to any maintenance-related issues (water, electricity, fencing, etc) for any of the program centers/facilities in East Amman.
  • Regular check (weekly is the minimum requirement) of all IRC facilities and operating areas in East Amman to ensure that facilities are in good working order; no damages or safety/security gaps.
  • Other tasks as required and requested.
?Data:
  • Work in close coordination with the M&E unit to develop the appropriate tools and databases to ensure accurate measurement of the programs? indicators.
  • Ensure timely and accurate routine data collection according to the monitoring plan.
  • Developing an effective documentation system to keep track of data source documents.
  • Provide a monthly update for the CP program progress.
  • Notify and follow up with program management regarding the Monitoring challenges, comments and feedbacks form the field.
  • Act as a Complaints and M&E focal point for the CP program.
  • Conducting quality and audit check on the collected raw data.
  • Ensure receiving the required data from the partners in timely and accurate manner.
