Number: 153268 Citizenships Jordan Years of Experience 5 - 9Capacity Building Senior Engineerand RequirementsJob Summary:Support BORDA Jordan Country Office In improving the capacity of the governmental, public, and community-based institutions in matters related to the water, sanitation, suitability, and other relevant fieldsDetailed Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop a capacity-building strategy in coordination with the Project Manager and Country DirectorIdentify the key stakeholders and key actors within Jordan water, sanitation, and sustainability sectorCoordinate with appropriate stakeholders in all aspects of project planning, monitoring, and implementation for all capacity-building activities.Provide technical support to the Project Manager/ line manager in the areas of work planning need assessment, training plan development, and training evaluation reportsDevelop capacity-building programs for the current year and develop a monthly implementation plan based on the needs assessment report,Develop, review and maintain tailor-made training material, presentations, workshops, agenda, and other reports in line with best practiceParticipate in monitoring, evaluating, and periodic reporting related to capacity-building activities according to the approved planMonitor and review progress in the implementation of capacity building activities, including design of evaluation frameworks (whether internal or out-sourced), evaluating with beneficiaries participating in capacity-building activitiesCoordinate services provided by the program to support the design and delivery of capacity-building actions (experts, trainers, training institutions)Work closely, with selected local partners to ensure adequate capacity is built in various areas of the program as requiredDevelop and maintain training guidelines and procedures as neededDevelop Knowledge management documents such as factsheets, SOPs, lessons learnt and other documents according to requirements and BORDA TemplatesDevelop training activities work plans that include assignment of responsibilities among team members and deadlines based on the capacity building planPrepare, review and maintain budget estimates for training activities for the capacity building programParticipate in the recruitment and selection of consultants, trainers and/or community volunteers to assist in implementing the capacity-building programs in the targeted communitySupport in developing the Means of Verification (MoVs) reports required for any project under BORDAPresent BORDA on the field as well as acting as a focal point for relevant national/sub-national and local entities as required and allocated.Educational and Professional QualificationBachelor?s degree in Civil Engineering or any related field, TOT is a plusRequired Work ExperienceMinimum of [5-9] Years of experience in water, sanitation projects, or solid waste managementRequired SkillsCommunicationStrong verbal and written communication abilitiesAbility to communicate clearly and objectively and brieflyAbility to listen and communicate professionallyHigh ability in using body language for communicationDeal strictly with matters within the policy of workPersonalExperience in time managementTeamwork and high initiativeStrong analytical and critical thinkingStrong attention to details, and confidentialityCultural awareness and sensitivity to local issuesManagementStrong vision and strategic thinkingExperience in managing teamsExperience in managing projectsExperience in managing clientsExcellent reporting skillsCompany: Industry: Non-Profit and Social Services Job Location: Amman, Jordan Career Level: Senior (Team Leader/Staff Supervisor) Date Posted: 15-09-2022 Ref.
