Job Description

The BudgetingÿSupervisor is responsible ensure all activities and processes related to planning and financial analysis that will assess the financial situation of the funded projects are conducted.Core Responsibilities:

  • Supports the budgeting manager in the preparation of the master budget for the funded projects.
  • ÿDevelops new proposal budget and current project budget modifications in coordination with other departments and endorsement of the budgeting manager.
  • Reviews internal reports prepared by the budgeting senior officer (BVA, B&L, Cash Balance ?etc.) and ensure its accurate and issued on time.
  • ÿReviews the donor financial reports prepared by senior budgeting officers and make ensure the accuracy in a timely manner.
  • ÿMaintains good relationships with donors and ensure compliance with donor requirements.
  • ÿSupervises the external audit conducted for the funded projects in coordination with the budgeting senior officer and another relevant department.
  • Approves all the payments prepared by senior officer according to the Finance Authority matrix.
  • ÿCarries out any tasks or responsibilities assigned by the direct manager and within the scope of the work.
Managerial Responsibilities:
  • Manages and builds the capacity of the assigned senior budgeting officers and provide them with performance feedback in coordination with the budgeting manager.
  • Supports the senior budgeting officers to manage the finance administration assistants assigned to them and provide feedback and direction as needed.
