Assistant County EngineerTo assist the county engineer in the planning, designing, and execution of road and bridge maintenance and construction projects. Benton County is currently seeking a qualified candidate for an Assistant County Engineer with the County Engineer?s Office. This position is responsible for assigned engineering projects in the county, the supervision and coordination of part-time/seasonal help, responsible for departmental personnel management, assistance in planning, design and construction of Secondary Road projects, and other related work as directed. Bachelor?s Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field from an accredited four-year college or university. Registered as an Engineer in Training (EIT) in the State of Iowa required.
