Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization working in more than 40 countries in the fields of nutrition, food security and livelihoods, water sanitation and hygiene, and care practices. ACF is looking for its program in Jordan for?Access and Liaison ManagerWork place: ?Amman-JordanOverview:Represent the organization and strengthen coordination with national and local authorities, and ensure facilitate access for and safe implementation of Action Against Hunger programming in Jordan.Responsibilities:?1) Develop a network to liaise with national, regional and local authorities to represent Action Against Hunger

• In close coordination with the mission?s management and program teams, establish, maintain, and enhance network with the representatives from different governmental entities
• Ensure regular communication about the activities of the organisation towards official stakeholders
• Support the bases to liaise with the local authorities, in collaboration with the Field Coordinators
• Serve as the focal point for official communication with governmental entities, including reporting and representation at inter-agency stakeholder meetings
• Participate actively in working groups related to the country and government liaison work

2) Ensure compliance with national requirements to guarantee smooth implementation of projects?

• Submit, follow, and obtain legal administrative documents related to the implementation of Action Against Hunger?s programmes in collaboration with the DCD Programmes and other program leads
• Secure the needed approvals from different ministries for all activities planned
• Follow government reporting requirements and submit reports accordingly in coordination with the Grants and Reporting Manager and Finance HOD.
• Understand the procedures to be followed to obtain visas, work permits, and residency for international employees
• Facilitate the development and maintenance of positive relations with local authorities that affect Action Against Hunger?s operating space and project implementation

3) Follow up and report on contextual events affecting the activities and positioning of Action Against Hunger

• Inform the Country Director and SMT of any governmental decisions affecting aid and development issues (either on programming or security), including changes in policy as well as government leadership, and participate in the interpretation of the potential effects of such decisions and changes
• Monitor national regulations and policies applying to INGOs
• Ensure compliance of the organisation with administrative national framework
• Propose solutions to problems encountered with the administrative bodies
• Engage stakeholders in discussions around challenges with humanitarian space

4?) Support access management through safety and security administration

• Act as a safety and security focal point for the mission, ensuring compliance with safety and security guidelines, in coordination with the CD
• ?Provide timely alerts and analysis regarding changes in safety and security status that may impact ACF staff, partners, and programs
• Establish a follow up mechanism with field coordinators for safety and security needs of bases
• Coordinate with stakeholders to understand contextual realities and changes in implementation areas

5) Fulfill general responsibilities and contribute to broader Action Against Hunger Jordan operational quality and consistency

• Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive information at all times
• Perform other job-related tasks as requested by the supervisor
• Commit to and comply with the organisation?s gender, age, and diversity principles and policies (working with people, communication)
• Lead on the promotion of gender, age and diversity principles through daily activities and / or through the management of teams, as well as through the planning and implementation of operations and strategies (managing performance and development)
