Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team at Al Wurud in Riyadh. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high-quality and consistent food standards. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, be able to work well under pressure, and have a deep understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including but not limited to appetizers, entrees, and desserts, according to recipes and restaurant standards.
  2. Ensure that all food items are prepared and presented in a timely manner.
  3. Maintain high standards of food quality and consistency.
  4. Ensure proper portion control and minimize waste.
  5. Assist in the development of new menu items and specials.
  6. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and inform the chef of any shortages.
  8. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation and timely service.
  9. Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum 1-5 years of experience as a Line Cook or similar role.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge of culinary techniques and cooking methods.
  3. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  6. Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices.
  7. Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
  8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  9. High school diploma or equivalent.
  10. Culinary degree or certification is a plus.
