General Responsibilities:•To ensure children with behavioural challenges are well-supported in our mainstream school environment•To ensure minimal disruption to the learning of the class / groups by supporting with behaviour management•To work under the guidance of Learning Support Co-ordinator to provide support in addressing the needs of pupils who require particular help with regulating their behaviour•Assist in developing individual behaviour/support plans.•Contribute to daily plans and activities•Challenge and motivate pupils, promoting and reinforcing self-esteem.•Provide 1:1 support for pupils as required•Support pupils who are not working effectively within usual classroom routines.•Support pupils to make appropriate choices about their learning and behaviour.•Work with school systems to communicate effectively with parents
