Job Description

BWP are currently representing a leading organisation in the contracting and maintenance division who are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer for their office in Kuwait.You will be responsible for? Developing electrical architecture and provide project work estimates? Responsible for the execution of Electrical Projects in accordance to project s specification, budget and time frame? Coordinate and manage with consultant on reviews for drawings and MEP related designs? Prepare and submit project drawings for Electrical works and obtain approval for all the required materials? Ensure quantity control for tools and equipment used for installing and testing? Performing electrical verification testing results analysis and implement corrective actions to improve the design? Ensure subcontractors, engineers, foremen and other staff adhere with relevant Quality records /regulations including safety? Provide design and consultation to other team members in the project? Lead and oversee specific electrical product design initiatives for large HVAC meeting industry and agency standards and requirements? Collaborate with the Projects Manager on electrical installation process development, department workflows and structure? Conduct regular risk analysis and take immediate measures to correct loopholes in the projectCore Competencies? Ability to deliver under stress & work with minimum supervision? Ability to follow rough sketches, to work from plans, specifications and oral and written instructions? Ability to recognize occupational hazards and put in place correct safety precautions? Thorough knowledge of the practices, techniques and materials used in the electrical trades and skills in the application of such practices and techniques? Team player with multi-tasking skills? Good interpersonal and leadership skills? Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and Authorities regulationsKey Requirements? Minimum 10 years experience in executing MEP engineering works? Electrical Engineering Degree with Kuwait Society of Engineers Membership? Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English - Arabic would be advantageous? Sound PC skills at MS Office; AutoCad knowledge is essential
