Job Description

The Cloud Presales Engineer plays a crucial role in the intersection of technology and sales, particularly within the Cyber & Network Security and Architecture sectors. This position is designed for individuals who possess a strong technical background and a passion for engaging with clients to understand their needs and propose tailored cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with sales teams to drive cloud adoption and ensure that clients are equipped with the best security and architectural practices. With a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 7 years of experience, this role requires a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with clients to understand their cloud security requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  2. Collaborate with sales teams to develop and present compelling cloud proposals.
  3. Conduct technical demonstrations and workshops to showcase cloud capabilities.
  4. Assist in the development of technical documentation and proposals.
  5. Stay updated on the latest cloud technologies and security practices to provide informed recommendations.
  6. Support the sales team in responding to RFPs and RFIs related to cloud services.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  8. Provide feedback to product teams based on client interactions and market trends.
  9. Participate in industry events and conferences to represent the company and its cloud offerings.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Strong technical background in cloud computing and cybersecurity.
  2. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  3. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  4. Experience in client-facing roles, particularly in a presales capacity.
  5. Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology landscapes.
  7. Self-motivated with a strong drive for results.
  8. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
