Finance Manager with at least 10-15 years experience in retail industries required urgently.? Lead a team, managing and appraising a robust and cost conscious finance team to support the operations.? Implement financial and internal control policies and procedures.? Establish and maintain cash control.? Verify and approve all the entries entered by the accounting staff.? Establish maintain and reconcile general ledger and bank accounts? Ensure that the transactions are properly recorded in the ERP system.? Verification of monthly payroll and ensure the accuracy.? Ensure efficient working capital management ? Supplier & payable management & inventory control management.? On time closure and reporting of the monthly management accounts.? Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements for the assigned entity including acting as focal point for annual audits and other legal filings.? Preparation and analysis of all Financial Planning in line with schedules, and as per ad hoc requests of Directors.? Contribute to process improvement and ensure vigorous control of finances and business operations.? Advise top management on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.? Establishing budget for the financial year, liaising with all departments heads and prepare monthly forecasts and present it to the directors.? Ensure budgetary control and variance analysis continuously? Establish costing and pricing models.? Conduct ongoing P&L projections, related studies and simulations for new business / new brand acquisition.? Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.? Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company?s actual performance compared to the business plans.? Develop trends and projections for the firm?s finances.? Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.? Liaise with bankers to ensure bank facilities and services on time.? Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained and timely preparation of audit reports.? Hold weekly meetings with all his/ her team members to discuss the department strategy and performance and follow-up on daily operational matters.? Implementation and compliance of value added tax and timely filing of VAT returns.? Implement and ensure that effective ERM is in place.? Overall revenue and cost management for continuous improvement of efficiency and cost effectiveness.
