Our expectation is to make everyday a Perfect HSE Day with no injuries, accidents or harm to the environment.Partner with the bestAs the HSE Lead Specialist, you will manage the day-to-day activity in the Plant being HSE frontline. You will partner with the Plant Leader and team to reduce and manage risks associated with operations. You will be accountable for the strengthening our interdependent HSE culture.As HSE Lead Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as subject-matter expert on HSE topics including emergency preparedness, safety risk assessments and safe working procedures.
  • Supporting preparation and reporting on key metrics- Injury & Illness rate, concern reporting, STOP-work and environmental KPIs.
  • Scheduling and maintaining site inspections and identifying opportunities to continuously improve.
  • Supporting and leading HSE investigations and implementing the learnings from the Root Cause Analysis.
  • Maintaining Government HSE compliance and reporting requirements and managing the adoption of relevant policies and procedures.
  • Supporting and executing HSE strategic action plans for the site.
Fuel your passionTo be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a bachelors degree
  • Have at least 4 years of experience in Health and Safety (Preferrable in oil and gas)
  • Have excellent investigation skills
  • Have excellent training skills
  • Have experience in vehicle monitoring systems
  • Have experience in HSE Auditing process
