Assist the Maintenance and Mechanical Supervisor to provide timely maintenance and efficient Mechanical Engineering services to Ducab?s assets to ensure optimum operation, minimum loss time and maximum asset life. Undertake preventive maintenance in line with the maintenance job plan and machine availability to minimize breakdown maintenance Exercise vigilance and troubleshoot simple or developing problems in order to ensure continuity of operations and escalate those beyond own capability to ensure effective resolutionUndertake breakdown maintenance for repairs, fabrication and welding jobs when requested to enable quick recovery of production at assigned standards, in line with Standard Operating Procedures Report any abnormalities observed to the Mechanical / Maintenance Supervisor to enable appropriate corrective action to be taken
