General Manager of Education/ Head of EducationA well-known, established multi-faceted organization in the UAE is on the lookout for a qualified and well experienced General Manager / Director/Head of Education to head and develop their nursery chains in the UAE.The GM /Head will work with the preschool nursery?s owner and its leadership team to oversee the establishment, management and financial matters, and further the Vision of the Nursery in line with its objectives. She will be responsible for hiring, leading and supporting the staff members in the day-to-day management and administration of academic, educational and other operations. The GM will work with the owner and the leadership team to formulate and implement strategies and ideas, to enhance the quality of the preschool nursery?s programs and their impact on key stakeholders. She will build on the foundations of the nursery?s curriculum by implementing innovative ideas for its development. She will create and build on important relationships with different local and international communities, which work with the preschool nursery. Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:? A Masters or Bachelor?s degree in Early Childhood Care and/or Education from a recognized University in a related field or Business? Proven track record of strong academic leadership and efficient management, including at least five years of experience as Director of more than one nursery or equivalent position at a preschool (Preferred experience with British Nurseries)? In-depth knowledge & understanding of the local and international education system (British nurseries preferred)? Demonstrated ability to inspire and promote quality teaching and learning in line with the vision of the preschool nursery and a steadfast commitment to lead it towards higher standards of excellence and quality education and care ? Excellent communication, problem solving, team-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a committed team of educators.? Demonstrated experience in financial management of a school, with the ability and skills to manage the assigned revenue and expenses budget.? The ability to recruit and retain highly qualified teachers and other staff, and the ability to instill confidence and gain their trust? Strong knowledge and experience in EYFS curriculum
