Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive HR Assistant to join our team in the construction and building industry. This role is pivotal in supporting the HR Officer with various administrative tasks, particularly in maintaining and updating employee records within our ERP system and HR master sheet. The HR Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that all employee information is accurate and up-to-date, which is crucial for compliance and operational efficiency. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist in following up on visa renewals and managing other employee relations matters, contributing to a smooth and effective HR function. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is committed to supporting the HR team in all aspects of their work, ensuring that our workforce is well-managed and compliant with local regulations.Responsibilities:Assist the HR Officer in updating and maintaining employee records in the ERP system and HR master sheet to ensure accuracy and compliance.Follow up on visa renewals for employees, coordinating with relevant authorities and ensuring timely processing.Support the HR Officer in managing employee relations, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional manner.Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information while ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.Assist in preparing HR reports and documentation for internal audits or compliance checks as required.Provide administrative support to the HR team, including filing, data entry, and managing HR-related correspondence.Support the HR Officer in various projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and satisfaction.Preferred Candidate:Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail in managing records and data.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate clear interactions with employees and stakeholders.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to take initiative and support the HR Officer in various tasks.A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively within a team and across departments.Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR practices, with a desire to learn and grow in the HR field.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HR software or ERP systems.Strong problem-solving skills to address employee inquiries and challenges effectively.Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
