Job Description

This position is responsible for day-to-day activities of the Technology functions, with primary emphasis on operation, support, system, and network initiatives, along with leading the team activities to provide such services. He/She will also provide guidance and direction to the operations and support team members & will ensure proactive monitoring of systems and network performance, perform various support functions, including business continuity readiness, disaster recovery setup, and drills management.Responsibilities:?

  • Design, implement, and maintain all LAN/WAN activities including vendor negotiations, hardware/software selection, resolving connectivity issues, and vendor escalation
  • Responsible for the level-1 security to protect the hardware, software, and information resources of the company from unauthorized access, tampering, or physical damage. This includes the management of firewalls.
  • Assist other areas of Information Technology related to the acquisition, installation, maintenance, problem diagnosis, and training of computer systems.
  • Scheduling of hardware maintenance activities and system tests to ensure the effectiveness of the hardware and software in use.
  • Develop plans to recover operating capability in the event of emergencies.
  • Provide high quality and responsive IT infrastructure in terms of reliability, availability, performance, and support, within defined areas of responsibility that meet agreed services levels.
  • Periodic reporting of area performance.
  • Effectively administer, test, and enhance the enterprise-wide Backup & Recovery, Disaster Recovery, and business continuity plans
  • Review hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts and pursue master agreements to capitalize on economies of scale.
