Job PurposeResponsible for Technology Implementation and Operational Support of the relevant technology area for production & development, including configuration, testing, implementation and support. To support the IT production processes governing, Incident Management, Problem management, service level management, capacity management, availability management, & IT service continuity. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES LINKED TO OBJECTIVE AREAS (MAXIMUM OF 10)- Provide technical input to assist with Capacity Management, IT Service Continuity and Availability.- Ensure that assigned incidents are resolved within the agreed Service Levels and where applicable, workarounds are provided to minimise business impact.- Ensure that assigned problems are defined and analysed in line with the Problem Management Process.- Ensure that solutions to problems meet the architectural and security standards within the technology area and impact to the business is minimised.- Provide technical consultancy and guidance to teams dealing within the technology area and act as technical member in project teams delivering the work packages assigned.- Identify areas of improvement within the relevant technology area and assist the implementation of appropriate service improvement programmes which are initiated to improve service level as by increasing capacity, availability and IT Service Continuity.Qualifications & ExperienceQualifications:Computer science degree or other degrees in a subject relevant to IT Computer science degree or other degrees in a subject relevant to ITExperience : Information Technology Network 5+ Years Experience in of specialised technical experience in Information technology: - 3+ years of experience in packaging software tools and deploying them in windows desktops - 3+ years of IT tools/application system experience in technology solution delivery Knowledge/Skills: . Experience should include new scripting, customisation of existing scripts, integrations, testing, and deployment . Experience should include expert understanding of installation/uninstallation using MSI files . Experience working and developing with Windows Batch Scripts, VBScript, PowerShell scripts . Experience in working with windows registry . Experience in trouble shooting and supporting .NET frameworks, third party tools (like UI controls, chart controls), reporting components like Crystal Reports (installation and maintenance) . Exposure to CI/CD tools (like GIT source controls, GIT clients, Jenkins, Nexus repository manager) . Exposure in setting up and supporting software tools related to Java, NodeJS, Python in both clients and servers . System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP . Fundamental knowledge of networking including TCP/IP ports and Firewalls, Network Protocols, and IP networks .
