We make UAE a safer place by providing secure electronic payment solutions, cyber security systems and communications as well as security systems for Dubai International Airport and air traffic management and navigation systems for Abu Dhabi?s airport.The Field Marketing Manager for Middle East is responsible for strategically developing and then driving and executing the annual Field Marketing plan, based upon measurable quarterly goals and objectives. Middle East is the geographical region including UAE, Pakistan, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Afghanistan, Saudi, Lebanon, Jordan.The Field Marketing plan will include; working alongside the Regional Sales manager and Channel Sales Manager to strategically define the approach to market, analysis and refinement of the GTM strategy plus engagement with the appropriate channel ecosystem in order to achieve the pipeline and revenue goal of the region. Working in conjunction with sales organization within the regional infrastructure across sales, channel, corporate and digital marketing amongst other functions, the individual will enable acceleration of enterprise grade B2B field and channel marketing campaigns.Measurable goals will be based on lead to revenue, pipeline, closed won revenue, channel ecosystem engagement, brand awareness and operational efficiency to demonstrate a full understanding of customer targets and segments critical to the success of the business.The role has clear responsibility to define, create and execute cross-regional campaigns, which can be leveraged throughout the world as applicable. The role will align and leverage positioning, messaging, and other information regarding products and services to target and generate high quality leads and pipeline. As required, it is also within the remit of this role to augment in vertical and channel as appropriate to the need.The successful candidate will have both experience and balance between strategy and execution that fully enables the region to achieve the business goals set forth in the annual plan.This role will report to the Senior Field Marketing for SEUR & META with close alignment to the Regional Sales Directors and Managers as well as Channel Sales Managers for Data Protection and Access Management product ranges.Role Synopsis:

  • Develop the Thales regional field and channel marketing plans with sales and channel regional representation for Access Management and Data Protection
  • Strategically develop and execute the Top 100 Accounts and Target Account Marketing in region, utilizing multiple mediums to deliver high quality targeted leads from the identified personas within the enterprises
  • Channel engagement: working with the Channel Account managers, identified distributors and partners to plan and proactively create demand generation campaigns (e.g., telemarketing, e-mail, direct mail, seminars, advertising) and integration approaches with the core technology partners
  • Localization - define the strategic approach to localized assets and communications including nurture and digital programmes
  • Online ? ensuring the online presence in key markets optimized in-line with key search terminology for the region, developing additional local pages, landing experiences and promotions based on market requirements such as compliance mandates
  • Digital ? defining and executing a digital programme which adds value to the strategic approach of the region, such as programmatic retargeting, awareness, multi touch engagements, webcasts
  • Events: execute key events in the regions as per approved plan
  • Develop and implement vertical demand generation campaigns focused on the core verticals.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales Operations to measure, understand and refine activity and data segmentation utilizing systems including DOMO, Salesforce.com and Pardot in support leads, pipeline, revenue and awareness goals
  • Budget management, including channel funds engagement and reporting
  • Report on Marketing Return on Investment using our CRM tool Salesforce and participate in quarterly business reviews and on-going business planning sessions
  • Be a proactive contributing member of one of the global tiger teams on specialization such as, ABM, Analysis, Nurture, verticalization etc.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • 5 + years of experience in regional role of Field or Channel Marketing for B2B software or technology company, with proven ability to deliver consistently strong measurable results
  • Security, Storage or Networking Industry Experience required
  • Proficient with CRM, marketing automation and BI tools - Salesforce.com, Pardot or DOMO experience highly desirable
  • Strong copy writing and editing skills
  • English above average is mandatory. Proficiency in Arabic is a strong plus.
  • Highly proficient with Excel and other MS Office software applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to run multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • The ability to work in a collaborative environment, preferably experience of acquisition and integration
  • University degree, preferable from marketing or business
  • Travelling up to 20%
  • Proven experience of working on an individual basis as part of a larger disparate geographical team with remote management
  • Creative, high energy, innovative, proactive, and resourceful
