Responsibilities / Duties

Performs routine facility maintenance as assigned.
Performs PM tasks as assigned
Observes and troubleshoots mechanical devices in operation by adjusting functional parts of devices, as well as repairing/replacing defective parts.
Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
Responsible for aiding in start-up process to ensure equipment is operating correctly
Contains a strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to assist in resolving issues and fostering Continuous Improvement.
Perform 1st level inspection on equipment
Execute job as per job order, procedures in manuals and instruction from Maintenance Shift Team Leader
Check and arrange the required spares for that job order and make it ready before starting the job.
Ensure that the Assets, Mechanic and Helpers are aware of the nature of job must be carrying
Check the condition of the removed equipment and inform to Packaging Team Leader.
Maintain the working table and work area neat and clean and free from Grease and Oil during and after the work.
Follow safety policy and procedures as outlined in the safety manual, including participation in any emergency maintenance work.
Perform other duties as required and assigned.
