Job Mission:Providing the needed protection for people lives & properties from fires & other natural disasters via participating in different rescue teams as well as keeping public safety in the fire location.Key Roles & Responsibilities:? Minimizes fire damage by responding to alarms; operating equipment; regulating water pressure; combating and extinguishing fires; rescuing and reviving people.? Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; notifying supervisor of needed repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.? Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.? Responds to fire alarms quickly to regulate and extinguish fires.? Operates firefighting and rescuing equipment such as aerial ladders, axes, fire hoses etc.? Provides emergency medical services with compliance to established standards.? Inspects scenes of fire or accidents to identify causes or discover significant findings.? Cleans up fire scenes by removing debris and burned items.? Responds to other emergency situations and assist those in need.? Writes accurate reports after incidents and submit them to superiors.? Cleans and maintain personal equipment and keep it ready for use.? Participates in fire drills as a way to stay alert and up-to-date with job duties.? Assists in public educational programs to help prevent dangerous fire accidents.? Any other tasks that do not contradict with the above.
