Perform the assigned duties as per the set policies and procedures in order to achieve the department goals.
Assist the Safety Manager in developing inspection strategies, goals and objectives.
Follow-up and improve inspection policies and procedures, plans and programs.
Ensure that all inspection instruments are up to date and calibrated.
Suggest, plan and recommend improvements on inspection techniques in order to meet the safety standards and reduce any defects.
Develop the safety inspection plan, execute the plan and submit status reports to the direct manager.
Conduct inspection visits to examine working conditions, tools and equipment in order to ensure workers safety and recommend on non-compliant tools and machines instant replacement.
Ensure that all workers are adhering to the health and safety standard and are provided with needed protective tools and equipment.
Develop mechanisms to monitor and record violations related to safety and ensure proper documentation.
Keep up to date with new legislations related to health and safety.
Recommend on health and safety procedures needed changes, develop methods to predict possible hazards to improve compliance with safety processes and procedures.
Assist in developing and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
Document the results of each inspection on the designated reporting form and inform the direct manager about the results.
Investigate safety incidents and injuries and submit reports clarifying the reasons and responsible individuals for them.
Perform any other tasks related to the job assigned by the direct manager.
