Job Description

As a Safety Advisor in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of employees within the company. You will be required to develop and implement safety policies and procedures, conduct risk assessments, and provide training on safety protocols. Additionally, you will investigate incidents and accidents, and make recommendations to prevent future occurrences. The ideal candidate for this role should have strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.Responsibilities:Accountable for: Providing operational support and advice to site management and plant supervisors and personnel to ensure Occupational Safety (OS)˙standards are understood, implemented and maintained˙˙

  • Maintains OS systems, documentation and records and prepares OS reports including data verification, interpretation & recommendations.˙˙
  • Assists with the development and execution of OS improvement plans and participates in improvement projects˙˙
  • Participates in hazard analyses and incident investigations.˙˙
  • Assists with facilitating OS awareness and training workshops and competence assessments.˙˙
  • Participate in the development, review and improvement of OS procedures.˙˙
  • Carries out OS inspections and audits and facilitates risk assessments in conjunction with plant personnel.˙˙
  • Interprets and advises on OS regulatory and business standards.˙˙
  • Maintain visible operational support and partners with site supervision and supervises contractor activities as required˙˙
  • Liaises with OS regulators / stakeholders˙˙
  • Participates in risk assessments and job reviews in order to assist in identifying and preventing HSE hazards˙˙
  • Assists in the coordination of OS inspections and follows up with departments to ensure corrective actions and improvement recommendations are implemented˙˙
