Design & review of instrumentations systems, technical evaluations, review of vendor documents and assist during commissioning of existing and new installations
Provides input to department and functions policies and procedure in line with the company objectives
Review and provide support for Process Control System design including engineering and factory testing / site testing.
Prepare & execute maintenance projects, taking into account technology compatibility, and financial feasibility.
Provide technical guidance to assess plant technical issues during operations and project executions.
Track & Monitor equipment performance
Conduct high level electrical problem solving
Work with other site expertise and 3rd party engineering firms to address long term instrumentation challenges.
Work along with reliability & operational team on bad actor eliminations by applying root cause analysis methods.
Develop and maintain equipment maintenance strategies by applying RCM methodology
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers
Ensures that all unit equipment documentation is complete, accurate and updated (data & spec sheets).
Reviewing & updating of Instrumentation procedures.
