Ensure availability and adherence to wear proper PPE?s such as masks, safety glasses, ear muffs, safety helmets, etc3.2 Daily check of furnace structure condition and report the anomalies.3.3 Prepare required material for any hot repair activities.3.4 Measure furnace emission as per plan.3.5 Inform control room in the event of incident or setting which could adversely affect quality.3.6 Follow SOPs of furnace maintenance.3.7 Adhere furnace safety in terms of property and human; involve risk assessment, finding near misses and anomalies.3.8 Following plant housekeeping procedures.3.9 Monitor furnace area conditions ( side wall, crowns, regenerators and furnace bottom)3.10 Efficient communications with shift management and hot end supervisor.3.11 Respect safety procedures. Ensure compliance to established Company Health and Safety Standards3.12 Adhere with the furnace planned activities3.13 Support tin bath and annealing lehr teams in their activities3.14 Monitor Refractories and sealing material availability.3.15 Execute Furnace Autonomous Maintenance3.16 Identifying and Reporting of Near miss/Unsafe act/Unsafe condition and reporting.3.17 Perform other tasks directed by immediate superior or management.
