The main responsibilities are ETL design and development for the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Solutions.Handle areas related to Metadata/Repository creation and management, Internal database administrator (DBA), Technical/Data architecture, Oracle Business Intelligence, BI client/servers related configuration.Reports to DWH/BI Technical Lead, interacts with Modeler, QA, IT, Data Analysis, BI Developer, and DWH/BI technical lead and all members of DWH/BI technical and functional teams.Design ETL processes; Develop default strategies for extracting data, archiving extracted data, policing data quality, dimension change management.Design strategy to meet availability requirements, Design data auditing subsystem, Design the structure of the ETL staging area.Develop plan for maintaining dimension hierarchies.Build dimension table surrogate key management system and the Audit system.Develop ETL subsystems as architected.Test historic load and primary dataset for incremental load.Conduct live tests with real data.Test all over process, system integration and month-end or unusual conditions.Inventory metadata elements, locations and relationships.Educate team on metadata situation and responsibilities.Identify key elements to manage.Create systems to capture additional metadata.Create tools to synchronize metadata.Design and implement metadata delivery system and Document metadata strategy.Ongoing metadata management and monitoring.Inventory metadata elements, locations and relationships.Populate BI tool metadata; Create business metadata.Test BI tools, Setup user security and report process metadata system.Test monitor and tune query performance.
