Job Description

  1. Contract Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with vendors, clients, suppliers, and other parties to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Ensure that contracts align with the organizations objectives and policies.
  2. Contract Drafting: Prepare and draft various types of contracts, including procurement agreements, service contracts, and partnerships. Ensure that contracts are clear, legally sound, and minimize potential risks.
  3. Contract Review: Evaluate contracts and agreements to identify potential issues, inconsistencies, and areas of concern. Seek legal counsel when necessary to review complex contracts.
  4. Contract Management: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from creation to execution and performance. Keep track of contract renewal dates and deliverables.
  5. Compliance: Ensure that all parties adhere to the terms and conditions specified in the contracts. Monitor performance and compliance throughout the contracts duration.
  6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them. Implement risk assessment procedures to protect the organizations interests.
  7. Dispute Resolution: Act as the point of contact for dispute resolution or contract-related conflicts. Work to find mutually beneficial resolutions and, if necessary, engage legal counsel.
  8. Record Keeping: Maintain a comprehensive record of all contracts, including amendments, correspondence, and supporting documentation. Keep records organized and readily accessible.
  9. Contract Modification: When required, assist in amending existing contracts to accommodate changes in circumstances or requirements.
  10. Communication: Foster effective communication with all stakeholders involved in the contract, including internal departments, clients, vendors, and legal counsel.
  11. Performance Evaluation: Monitor and assess the performance of vendors and suppliers to ensure they meet the terms of the contract.
  12. Cost Control: Manage contract-related costs, track budgetary implications, and ensure that contracts are cost-effective for the organization.
