Lead Welding EngineerJob Location : UAERequirements :?B.SC or equivalent degree in Engineering in Material/Metallurgy Engineering from an accredited university with 20 years of quality experience in oil/gas industry.?Must have IIW/EWF Welding Engineer certification.?Expert in Welding Technology.?At least ten (10) years of experience in similar position for major oil/gas projects including five (5) years in CONTRACTOR organization.?Experience on international large-scale project oil/gas projects of comparable complexity Work effectively with peers in multi-disciplinary environment.?Good Command of written and spoken English.Lead Welding Engineer shall be responsible for:?Develop project welding specification and ensure the application of correct standards and accurate interpretation of contractual and project requirements.?Identifying all project welding requirements, Preparing and qualifying welding procedures specification, and design welding inspection quality programs.?Provide innovative support with respect to the development and implementation of new technology.?Implement and maintain welding program policies, standards, procedure and guidelines.?Ensure welding compatibility with design requirements and the application of correct welding parameters.
