General AccountantJob Location : UAEEducation & Experience requirements:?Bachelors degree / Masters/ CA Inter/ CMA?Indepth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations?Experience in Logistics & Warehouse is preferable?Attention to detail, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilities are required?Excellent oral and written communication skills?Multitasking ability, ability to work under pressure, and ability to meet deadlines.?Knowledge in MS Office is a must?Proficiency in various ERP systemEssential Duties & Tasks:?Sales, Purchases & Indirect and Capex cost review and booking?Perform monthend closing by collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyse, and interpret relevant financial information.?Aligning general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting.?Entering financial data such as accruals, prepayments, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis.?Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and balances are correct before sending for review to Finance Head.?Compile, verify, and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions. These reports may include monthly VAT liabilities, VAT returns, regulatory reports and filings?Import and export formalities / documentations?Reconciliations of Bank, cash, customers, suppliers and capex.?Prepare AP / AR ageing and reconciliation & collections.?Assist the Internal & External Audit.?Collaborating with internal departments.
