Customer IT Implementation - WMS Specialist

Job Description

Key Tasks:Support administration of IT applications development & integration plans and processes to provide new and revised applications systems and programsManage, prioritize, troubleshoot, and resolve IT incidents as per the defined SLA through IT helpdesk tools.Provide technical assistance to end users and customers for Warehouse Management System and other IT functional applications.Collaborate with internal IT teams and business units or customers (when needed) in problem solving and incident resolutions.Develop code or modify application components based on design specifications adhering to programming standards, techniques and methodologiesPrepare and/ or maintain programming documentation, procedures and methods, and solution specific documents.Prepare specifications of integration of new application functional objects with existing application componentsIdentify and define application integration points with other internal and external systemsAdminister maintenance and problem resolution on single or multiple applications or interfacesSupport to identify opportunities for improving application functionality and performance issues by working with customers and architecture resourcesDefine test cases, conditions, checklists, decision tables, systems controls and auditability checks. Assist with facilitation of the test process by co ordinating with internal testing team and customers.Assist with facilitation of the test process including structuring, facilitating or participating in reviews and inspections. Assist in the technical testing for new releases, upgrades, new functionalities, customer integrations as well as any other required changes in the existing application software.Develop, document, and communicate test processes, requirements, procedures, results and standardsObtain and document approvals for various stages of application development & integration and testing processIdentify and resolve recurring issues, and suggest modifications for IT applications development & integration work methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiencyMay provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced positionsSet up and configure Warehouse management system and develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or similar tools.Stakeholders:May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practicesSupport and interact primarily with colleagues of own functionBuild relationships and understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concernsAddress task-related issues appropriately to maintain work relationshipsManagement Responsibility:Individual contributor without direct responsibility for leading othersSkills:Requirements Analysis, Software Development, Programming, Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Software Documentation, SDLC, Technology Trends, Configuration Management, Systems Integration, Interfaces, Incident Management, Systems Analysis, SQL Programming, DHL Business Knowledge, Business Processes, Business Strategy, Project Management, Stakeholder ManagementNow, here’s what we need from you:Qualifications & Key RequirementsEducation LevelBachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualificationExperience LevelMore than 2 yearsKey Requirements:Working knowledge in database, framework, and programming.Familiar with logistics and warehousing industry.Proficient oral and written communication and presentation skills.Openness to learn and adapt to new technologies.Exhibit strong problem solving and analytical skills.Preferrable to have Warehouse Management System Knowledge and SQL Programming Skills.You will be redirected to the company website to apply for this position
