Job Description

Your Purpose:A Business partner who delivers value added purchasing expertise to organisation and ensuring enforcement of adequate controls and purchasing processes. Perform procurement of non-production materials and services, ensuring that they are of the required technical quality in the best prices, along with our standard terms and conditions, to maintain, modify and constantly monitor the active supplier data base by analysing the market, the products and the services available. Finally, to lead effectively and be the cohesive bondfor the team*Your Responsibilities:Operations:

  • Research and report on optimum procurement solutions based on time, cost, and quality to ensure fit for purpose equipment and supplies.
  • Reviewing and evaluating tenders and quotations in accordance with procurement processes.
  • Sourcing & Procurement non-production material and services for internal customers in line with administrative and operational requirements, negotiating the most favorable contract terms / conditions possible, to achieve best value.
Governance:
  • Ensuring that all procurement is synchronized against demand and within budget, by always adhering to our corporate governance (policies, local work instructions and manuals)
Vendors Management:
  • Maintain a centralized vendor database for all categories
Leadership:
  • Promote a Continuous Improvement philosophy and strive toward an ambitious savings target with a view to eliminate cost/waste at MBCME.
  • Train, guide, and support colleagues on how to adhere to the companys procurement governance.
  • Where appropriate for the procurement process, liaising effectively with departments to optimize their respective planning.
Contract Management:
  • Prepares and issues agreements and orders and any procurement related amendment. Ensures proper approval levels as per the MBCME Authorization / Approval Matrix. Resolves ordering parties complaints about quality, delivery times and cost with suppliers
Qualifications Your Profile: Educational Background
  • Advanced User of Office Suite especially with Excel and Access tools
Technical knowledge
  • 3 - 5 Years of Procurement Supervisor or Senior Buyer Roles
Soft skills/individual competence
  • Team player
  • Leadership during the absence of supervisor
  • Attention to detail
  • Time management
